Located at Guangzhou, Guangdong province, China, Garden hotel[1], opened at 1984, has long been regarded as one of the oldest but best hotels in China. With its aim to most of the business guests, it has also gained a great fame in the market and become the prestigious leader of the market. Garden hotel is one of the first hotels in China which cooperated with offshore company, the HongKong Garden Hotel Company. In 2007, Garden hotel awarded the prize "Platinum Five Stars"[2], and named as the best business hotel in China.

Hotel Introduction[edit]

Opening in 1985, Garden hotel has become the brand and symbol of the business hotels in China. In the year of 1982, under the advocate of the mayor of Guangzhou, Liao Chengzhi[3] and the investment of HongKong hotel manager Li Mingze and the collaboration of Chinese mainland real estate company-- Lingnan enterprise[4], the Garden hotel started constructing at May. Being finished constructing in 1984, the Garden hotel caught the social attention. In 2007, the hotel was re-furnished and soon received the prize of "Platinum Five Stars". With the long history and excellent services, the Garden hotel was, and is the milestone of the Chinese Hotel Market, which shares the same fame and prestige with other two of the "platinum Five Stars" hotels-- The China World Hotel Beijing[5] and The Portman Ritz-Carlton, Shanghai[6].

Hotel Location[edit]

Locates at the hinterland, the hub of city Guangzhou, Garden hotel is accessible for any sort of transportation, including the metro[7], the every-day shuttle bus to the airport and the train station. The area around the hotel is now being known as the CBD of Guangzhou.

Restaurant Liwan restaurant: The Liwan restaurant is famous for the exquisite Yue food, most of which are tea cakes and snacks. Being right at the downtown of the city, the Liwan restaurant is not only the best choice for a meal but also the place for viewing the night scene of the city.

Taoyuan restaurant: The Tauyuan restaurant, alike the Liwan restaurant, serves guests with the well-made Yue food. And as well, it offers different kinds of Chinese food. Shanghai food, for instance, is the most popular sort of food that is offered in this restaurant other than the Yue food.

Lingxuan restaurant: The Lingxuan restaurant is the buffet restaurant of the hotel. The simple but comforting ornament provides people with a pleasant atmosphere for dining.

Prestige lounge (Mingshi restaurant): The most well-known French-style restaurant for both of the Garden hotel and the city of Guangzhou. The prior selection of business and banquet. The graceful, solemn but pleasant surroundings makes this place a nice place for dining. The fragrance brings the pleasant and refreshment over people's bodies and souls.

Gentlemen Bar: The Britain style bar. It is the prior selection for the after-day relax.
