Hi! I work for a communications firm that represents Zonar Systems. The article for Zonar was recently deleted in favor of a redirect to this article, so I'd like to propose adding a new "Zonar Systems" section of this article to capture some of the top-level information:

==Zonar Systems==

A Zonar GPS tracking device inside of a school bus in 2011

Zonar Systems is an American telematics company, majority owned by Continental,[1] that produces fleet tracking and management products.[2][3][4] The company's tracking technology uses data generated by engines and on-board sources such as GPS systems.[5] The company is headquartered in Seattle, Washington.[6]

The Zonar Logs electronic logging device has been tested and validated to meet Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration standards.[7] The Zonar Z-Pass system has been introduced in various schools for student identification while boarding a school bus.[8][9] The system is also used by parents to track when their child boards or exits the school bus.[10][9] The company's technology also collects and analyzes data from commercial vehicles to provide safety and navigation guidance to truck drivers and managers.[11]

Due to my COI, I won't be editing the article directly. I appreciate any help or feedback. Thank you! Mary Gaulke (talk) 20:16, 9 January 2019 (UTC)
