The Medician Civil War, was a Civil war fought between the Dictatorship of Medici (DRM) and the Medician Rebels. The war was part of the larger Medician Revolution, and broke out due to Sebastian Di Ravello's harsh policies on the Medician people, and government-organized (DRM) attacks on civilian towns. The already growing rebels raided attacks and assassinations towards the DRM. This angered the DRM to commit more atrocities, causing a failed Coup d'état by the Rebels and ultimately sparking an all out civil war between the two Armies. The war lasted for 3 years 2 months and 20 days , beginning on September 14 2012 and ending on 3 December 2015 with the surrender and defeat of the DRM, after the death of Di Ravello and the loss of many, artillery, bases and aircraft. A total of 10,324 casualties happened across both sides and around 2,500 civilian deaths. NATO and other countries backed the rebels, while the DRM warned the Western Allies of destruction with Bavarium if they interfered. Therefore no NATO or other allied troops were deployed in Medici. The end of the war seen the creation of a Medician republic with democracy and a period of reconstruction and economic boom for Medici.
