It is a nonprofit organization founded by, organized by, operated by, and educating children. Pennsylvania is the BKPA's official home state, but it is registered as a out-of-state organization with the state of New Jersey, where it holds most of its educational activities around Princeton, New Jersey.

Four Pillars of BKPA[edit]

The BKPA conducts four types of activities to help to further their organizational goals: educational, cultural, literary, and charitable. Certain activities are recurrent every year, as expressed in their charter. Additional activities have occurred from time to time based on input from the child members of the BKPA. All activities occur with adult (parental) supervision, but the officers of the BKPA are given the responsibility for organizing these events and the children are their primary participants.
