From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Gremlin is a plaintext vector graphics file format, originally designed for the Advanced Electronic Design AED 512 graphic terminal[citation needed], and which can be produced by the vector drawing software with the same name.

Pictures in gremlin format can be included in troff files by using the grn preprocessor.
