Steven G. Farrell[1] is the author of Mersey Boys, a novel and screenplay [2] about John Lennon's relationship with his professor, Al Moran, at the Liverpool Art College, circa 1960. John Lennon introduces his new Irish-American friend to his mates, the Beatles, as well as to Ginny Browne, a beautiful lass who becomes the muse of the thriving Mersey Beat sound. Mersey Boys is currently in postproduction as a film that shall star Joanna Pickering[3] as the female lead Ginny Browne.[4]
Steven G. Farrell was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin in 1954 and he was reared in a large Irish and German Catholic family. After rambling around the world for twenty-five years he settled in Greenville, South Carolina where is currently is an Associate Professor of Speech at Greenville Technical College Professor Farrell's scholarly focus is upon the representation of Irish-American in film and two of his papers include Mickey Machine Gun is Back! and "Galloping Gallagher Deserves the Gallows![5]
