Autumna
Hailing from Antwerp, Belgium, Autumna is an artist with a long list of productions under his name. With titles such as “Washed Up On The Shores of My Heart” and “Postponed Happiness”, Autumna is indiscrete with the emotions his tracks invoke and the inspiration that surely went into them. After all, he describes his sound as “broken music for happy people”.
The Autumna project was conceived in 2009. Early output shows flirtations with various electronic genres, to eventually evolve into a preference for ambient, drone and experimental soundscapes. Autumna's take on music is overall minimalistic and often lo-fi, a signature blend of field recordings, synths, voices, white noise and found-sound.
Most of the artist's output is self-released, followed by a multitude of titles on various small diy net labels. A complete overview of his releases is available on discogs.com
Over the years, Autumna launched various off-shoot projects, which saw him release materials under different monikers, such as "avtvmna.", "Summer Karma", ".triage" and "Any Decision You Ever Made".
In 2014, Autumna founded his own diy net label “Summer Karma”, which offers free downloads of a select number of electronic musicians, as well as the compilation series dubbed “Summer Home”.
The “September Harvest” bandcamp page was created in 2017, to offer a platform for more recent outings by Autumna and affiliated projects.
His self-released material is available from the September Harvest Bandcamp page.
