Meathead is a pseudonym for an internet humor columnist (real name David Craig) who primarily contributes to The NIN Hotline, a fan site dedicated to the industrial rock band Nine Inch Nails.

Meathead was born on August 14th, 1979 in Groval Run, Arizona, to a single mother who had recently immigrated to the United States from Ukraine.
His column, The Meathead Perspective, which was started on August 4, 1999, satirizes Nine Inch Nails and its founder Trent Reznor, regularly poking fun at the band's members while expressing his enthusiasm and fondness for the group's music. [1] His column provides commentary on Reznor's latest activities and band-related events, and often include humorous Flash animations and reviews of the band's latest releases. The column has been linked to from the band's official website as an "unofficial resource" on various occasions since its inception. Over the years, Meathead has gained notable popularity throughout the Nine Inch Nails fanbase and has established loyal cult following for his material.
Meathead is also an avid artist whose surrealist paintings primarily consist of cow-like creatures in extraordinary predicaments. These images are archived at Meathead's personal page, the Web Hole, and have been made available for sale as limited-edition prints. - Meathead is currently studying epistemology and ontological empiricism at the University of Pittsburgh.
- Under the pseudonym Nine Inch Goombas, Meathead produced a remix of NIN's hit song "Closer" entitled "Closer to Mario" using the music and various sound effects from several games in the Super Mario Bros. series. This remix has been played on commercial radio around the world, as well as on the set of the movie Queen of the Damned (in between shooting takes for the vampire rock concert staged in Death Valley, California).
- Meathead's given name was chosen to pay homage to Michaelangelo's sculpture of the same name.
- Members of the NIN entourage threw Meathead a surprise birthday party backstage in Pittsburgh on June 30, 2006, complete with a fist-masticating stripper. It was recorded and webcast by the official NIN fanclub later that week.
- Meathead was one of a handful of artists invited to Kamikaze Records (later Kamikaze Media) for his creative music composition and remixing abilities.
- Though there is no hard evidence to verify his claim, Meathead allegedly beat the classic SNES video game "EarthBound" in less than 45 minutes.
- In 2004, during a dry-spell of Perspective-worthy activity, Meathead found an outlet for his writing in the short-lived but amusing column on crapville.com entitled The Village Idiot. Unlike the Perspective, the Idiot had no specified topic.
