Controversy[edit]

Their has been some controversy over the series. For instance, the critics said that it was way too violent and had "inappropriate content". The "inappropriate content" was using the idea that homosexual dinosaurs existed based on lion homosexuality. The producers said they put it in to make it "funny" but didn't know it was going to have such a great impact on the gay rights community.

Cannibalism[edit]

The show features high levels of cannibalism, as criticized by the public. Two Inostrancevia's, one Hybodus, two Majungasaurus, one Sinraptor, one Quetzalcoatlus and four Tyrannosaurs where among those creatures that praticipated in cannibalism in the series. However, most of the criticism comes from the T-Rex. The cannibal eats another T-Rex for food, then eats two baby T-Rexes, and then a lone male kills another bigger T-Rex and cannibalizes it, then the two T-Rex parents cannibalize a T-Rex they killed for food, and they also kill the lone male and cannibalize him as well. All of the three T-Rexes are cannibalized by the baby as well. Some more cannibalism occured, but it could have been a lot more if it had not been for the public wanting to make the show more "kid friendly". The producers excepted it and cut out many, many major cannibal/homosexual dinosaurs scenes.

Movie[edit]

Discovery Channel has made a deal with the production team of the series, and now are currently producing a film based on the series. It will be released on December 25, 2012. Their have been some details, including some segments and creatures appearing, but will not be released until October 21, 2011.
