Dr. Qari Mohammad Tayyab Pasha Quadri was born on 6th June 1965 in the town of Mahboobnagar, a well known place near Hyderabad, India. He was born with a gift for recital of Naat Shareef. Allah Ta’ala has blessed him with a melodious, golden and sweet velvety voice. He is well known in reciting Naat Shareef in his unique style.

Nick Name[edit]

The voice of Dr. Qari Mohammad Tayyab Pasha Quadri encompassed a tremendous range, a range which is un comparable. He has a talent for reciting Naat to the effect that it touched the audience’s hearts. His voice quality combined with his unsurpassed range made him different from his contemporaries and from his adorers he was rightly given the nick name “Bulbul-e-Taibah” (Nightingale of Taibah)”.

Parents[edit]

His father Md. Abdul Qadir, (retired Government servant) known as Behosh Mahboobnagri is among the famous Islamic poets of India, having written hundreds of Hamd, Naat, Salam, Manqabat, Nazm and other branches in poetry. His poetry is available in the market in two volume of books, ‘Hosh-e-Aqidath’ and ‘Hosh-e-Abdiyat’.

Dr. Qari Mohammad Tayyab Pasha Quadri belongs to Ahlul Sunnah Wal Jama’ah (Sunni Islam) and consistently follows Islamic Jurisprudence of Imam-ul-Azam Abu Hanifah (R.A). He acquired sound knowledge in Tufseer, Hadith, Fiqh and Adab.

Tasawwuf[edit]

He and his family members are among the disciple of Hazrath Mohammad Moizuddin Multani (R.A), a famous Shaykh and Mufassir-e-Quran of his time. Dr. Qari Mohammad Tayyab Pasha Quadri took baith on the holy hands of this Shaykh and learned Quadiriyyah Tariqath (Tariqath of Hazrath Syedna Shaykh Mohiuddin Abdul Qadir Gilani R.A) under His guidance.

Qirath | Tarteel[edit]

In abeyance to the command of Allah for reciting the Holy Quran with “Tarteel” (proper pronunciation during recitation at a moderate speed) Dr. Tayyab Pasha Quadri learnt Qirath in Egyptain tone and Riwayah of Imam Hafs ibn Sulayman Al-Kufi (Mercy of Allah be upon Him) by bowing his knees before one of the famous Indian Qari Al-Sayyad Mohd. Abdul Qayyum Shakir (founder of Iqra Qirat Society) who has the privilege of teaching Qirath to thousands of persons in all age groups.

For past 15 years Dr. Qari Mohammad Tayyab Pasha Quadri is been conducting classes and seminars for promoting Tajweed. Students from far away approach him to learn and practise Tajweed.

Education[edit]

He had his Higher and Senior Secondary education in Hyderabad. He completed his graduation in the faculty of commerce and was awarded the degree of B.Com from Osmania University. Being a lover of Urdu language he obtained the degree of Philosophy in Urdu literature from University of Hyderabad under the guidance of Professor Rehmath Yusus Ziya followed by the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.d.) in Urdu litreture from the University of Hyderabad under the guidance of Dr. Naseemuddin Faress.

Profession[edit]

As a graduate in Commerce he started his career as an Auditor. He worked in accounts and finance department of various business organizations. Later acknowledging his skills and his personal interest towards his own mother tongue, Government of Andhra Pradesh appointed him as a faculty in Urdu language. For past 10 years he is been serving his services as an Urdu faculty promoting Urdu language in city Hyderabad.

Career in Naat[edit]

Dr. Qari Mohammad Tayyab Quadri started reciting Naat Shareef in public much before his reaching the teen age. He was born with a gift for recital of Naat Shareef. Druing his education in primacy classes, he was very often asked by his teachers and others to recite the Naat of their choices and on doing so, on all such occasions, he was very much applauded with the depth of their hearts.

His first public performance came at the age of 12 years. With in a no time he become popular earned a great name and look of respect.

His melodious, golden and sweet voice and a relaxed reciting syle always rules the hearts of millions of Naat lovers through out the world. He recited more than 1000 Naat written by his father Behosh Mahboobnagri and many known Awliya', Ulema, and Masha’ekheen of India e.g. Hazrath Moizuddin Multani (R.A), Moulana Hameeduddin Aqil Husami etc.

His Naat are very often broadcasted on Radio and Television in India. At every Islamic occasion Government and private channels invite him to record and broadcast his Naat and other Kalam. Most of his old recordings are broadcasted on public demand on radio and television around the country.

Being pious in nature he never gave importance to publicity. Organizations from inside and outside of the country invited him for the Naat. People recorded his Naat and saved in archive but he himself never recorded any play of him either in audio or video format for the long time unless he was demanded by the adorers around the world for an audio version. Acknowledging the request, at last he released an audio version ‘Saughat-e-Tayyab’ in the year 1990 which went like gold soon after it’s release. Later more 2 volumes with the same title were released. Albums like ‘Shaan-e-Mustufa’, ‘Ihsaan-e-Mustafa’ etc were released with the advent of Millennium.

Ideal for Naat Community[edit]

So many youth in India got inspiration from him and started learning and reciting Naat. While conducting interviews, upcoming Naat Khwan said “Tayyab Pasha Saheb is our ideal in reciting Naat, we heard him reciting Naat and got inspired”. Infact, His life gave birth to hundred of Naat Khwan or hundred of Tayyab Pashas inside and outside of the country.

Whenever there is a discussion on Naat only one name comes to public lips – that’s of Bulbul-e-Taibah, Dr. Qari Md. Tayyab Pasha Quadri. Audience is much influenced by him and his poetry. His singing style, his soft velvety voice, emotion filled, tuneful Islamic poetry is unique and so sweet that can be listen for hours on end. This uniqueness in his voice has never been seen in any other Naat Khwaan. His tuneful Naat touched heart of Ashiqaan-e-Rasool (SAW).

Although He mainly recited Hamd, Naat and Munqabath, he has some success in Ghazal and Nazm. He recited Naat and other Kalam in many languages including Urdu, Arabic and Persian.

A Poet[edit]

Qari Mohammad Tayyab Pasha Quadri is a prominent Naat Khwan to write his own poetry. His vocal development exploded day and night and he began channeling his energy into writing and producing his own Naats. He wrote 100 of Hamd, Naat, Munqabath, Ghazal and Nazm of his own and recited in the public. His poetry is to be released soon.

Married Life[edit]

Dr. Qari Mohammad Tayyab Pasha Quadri was married in the year 1996 with a well educated member of respectable family in the city and is blessed with five children which include 3 sons.

Hobbies[edit]

He learned Urdu and Arabic Calligraphy from Adabiyat-e-Urdu of Hyderabad. Writing Quranic Verses in calligraphy is among his hobbies.

International Visits[edit]

He made many visits to various parts of the Gulf for Mehfil of Naat and recited so many Naat and other Kalam.

Award conferred on him[edit]

As a child he was honoured with Best Naat Khwan for continuously 3 years by Anjuman-e-Qadriyyah. He was placed at top at All India Level in the year 2000 conducted by Bazm-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) India. Apart from these he received more than hundred awards from different Organizations, Majlis of Ulamas, Masha’ekheen and Political Leaders ruling the Government. He earned millions of appraisal from audience inside and outside of the country.
