Mustafavi Students Movement (Urdu: مصطفوی سٹوڈنٹس موومنٹ) or (MSM Pakistan) is the student wing of Minhaj-ul-Quran[2] founded by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri in 1994 in Lahore, Pakistan.[3]The Mustafavi Students Movement commonly known as MSM Pakistan and is one of the largest student organization in Pakistan which has a countrywide organizational structure. MSM is providing students in Pakistan with high quality, beauty, halal development, and true Islamic aims and spirit of education,[4] by providing a peaceful environment[5] which keeps them away from violation and it prevents unethical activities. and engaged in inhibiting positive activities. This Movement is active in universities, colleges,[6] schools, and religious institutes at the nationwide level.[7] MSM encourages the students to keep up the constant struggle and purify themselves to eradicate illiteracy and spread the light of knowledge. MSM discourages students' minds and hearts from drug abuse, rebelliousness, aggression, indecency, and misbehavior. The prior responsibility of MSM Pakistan is to make the students serene and sublime morally, mentally, socially, and religiously. [8]

MSM Pakistan was founded on 06 October 1994[9][10][11] in Lahore.[12] The Central Secretariat of MSM is in the city of Lahore. Mustafavi Students Movement Pakistan's ideology is based on Promoting Education & Peace.[13][14] Minhaj ul Quran has organized Itikaf City every year. In which members of MSM from all over Pakistan participate in spiritual training.[15] It arranges a 30-day winter study camp in Lahore every year in January for the training of students from Gilgit-Baltistan and Balochistan.[16][17] MSM Pakistan is continuously struggling by keeping their voice up to increase the Education budget[18][19] as well as introduce uniform curriculum in all over the country.[20] MSM Pakistan does a historic 22-day sit-in against the Pakistan Medical Commission irregularities with students.[21] It arranged the "Let us save the state, not the politics" against political and economic instability in Pakistan.[22][23]

Manifesto[edit]

  • MSM has Organised Durood Circles, Quran Circles, Study Circles, Awakening Nights, and Duroos e Quran for the implementation of ‘’Amr Bil-Maruf & Nahi An-ul-Munkar’’.[24]
  • MSM has Organised Training workshops to develop leadership skills in students under Leadership Development Programmes.[25]
  • MSM has Organized Career counseling and educational activities of students through the Medical Council, Engineering Council, Law Council, Literary Council,[26] IT Council, Business Council, and Social Media Council.[27][28]
  • MSM has Organized coaching centers, science clubs, research societies, and libraries under Research and Guidance Council. Also publication of necessary materials for proper guidance of students.
  • MSM has Launched Book Banks, Blood Donation Societies, and Education Support Programs for the welfare of students under the Welfare Council.[29]
