The Aim of Destruction is an American Pop-Punk side-project by Josh Peabody from El Dorado Hills, California.
History[edit]
Predecessor Band (2011 - 2015)[edit]
Mental Creepers was the forerunner band to Unknown Blank and was created in the summer of 2011 by Josh Peabody while still in middle school. The band was an attempt to emulate the sound and image of Hollywood Undead, with each member having a mask, nickname, and role in vocals. The band had a revolving door of members, often changing roles. In 2013, the band eventually cemented a line-up of: Josh Peabody on vocals, bass, and guitar; Brandon Wroblewski on vocals and guitar, Max White on vocals and drums, Dom dePuglia on vocals. However this line-up didn't last when Dom dePuglia and Max White were kicked for not being active in the band. In August 2014, Ryan McCurdy was recruited to play drums and vocals. However, this would only last a few weeks before both Brandon Wroblewski and Ryan McCurdy quit the band. After this, Josh Peabody was the only lasting member. During this time, the project was renamed to "Am I Worthy?" and ditched all resemblance to Hollywood Undead. From September 2014 to April 2015, Josh Peabody wrote an entire album's worth of material, with a mix of songs leaning in the style of either Pop-punk or Alternative Metal. Upon completion of the album, Josh Peabody decided to split "Am I Worthy?" into two projects. With the split of the "Am I Worthy?" material, came the formation of Unknown Blank.
Formation (2017 - Present)[edit]
Unknown Blank was unveiled on August 25th, 2017 by vocalist/guitarist Josh Peabody. The side-project was created to encompass all of Josh Peabody's more pop-punk song-writing tendencies.
