The Creeper[edit]

The Creeper is a fictional creature from the popular PC game 'Minecraft' a game created by Markus Persson and the 'Mojang' team. It is one of the many enemies or 'mobs' found in the game and can damage the players in-game character if it gets to close. Creepers are by far the most dangerous enemies in Minecraft and they are feared by the community thanks to their habit of silently approaching the player and suddenly exploding, causing great damage to the player as well as destroying the landscape within It's vicinity.

Appearance[edit]

Creepers are quadrupeds of a lime green colour, they stand at about the same height as the player and have black facial features e.g Mouth, eyes. When close to the player the creeper emits a hissing sound and flashes between it's original colour and a light grey colour, shortly after, it explodes in a self-destructive manner.

It is possible to change the appearance of creepers and all other in-game objects with the use of texture packs. Texture packs are files created by the community that alter the appearance of the game completely, their are thousands out there, many displaying different and unique styles and the idea of texture packs and other in-game mods is fully supported by Mojang.
