articles to edit proposal: Bethesda, Maryland https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bethesda,_Maryland. there is significant lack of information about landmarks, history, trails, notable places ect. from the page. I could add a lot of information about local resources, notable places and other topics pertaining to Bethesda. Also an inclusion of important figures that live in the area. Five Hour Energy https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/5-hour_Energy. there is a lack of information pertaining to reception, criticism, and opinions from medical professionals about 5 hour energy. I could also add information about their advertisements, involvement with charities and other topics about the company. Robert Arthur JR. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Arthur_Jr. there is a lack of information about the biography and life of Robert, also critical reception of his work. his experience with alfred hithcock is also notable, and more informaiton on his style of writing and critical reception. Big Tobacco https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_Tobacco. there is a ton of information lacking here, including info about the companies that make big tobacco, the industry itself, the economics of big tobacco, advertisements, notable people and ceos and cultural references, which there are a lot of.

Bethesda: article selection

the additions to the Bethesda article will focus on adding information on demographics, housing, restaurants, culture, business and culture. There will be more information on local attractions and history of Bethesda. Overall the goal is to increase the comprehensive overview with specifics about Bethesda and adding some more relevant information.

Looks like you have some pretty good brain storming so far!

You have a lot of sources laid out which is awesome. I think mixing in a few scholarly sources with the magazine/opinionated sources could be valuable. Especially with the trail ones. In one of the tutorials we took on Wiki, they said to not only use the source of the actual organization/place. So for the cc trail and glen echo park, it might be of value to include another article about each. ---could you possibly visit these places to include original photos? Would be a great visualization.
I can see what you plan on adding (demographics, housing, restaurants, culture, business and culture), but I don't know specifics, such as: what business' do you want to add? what about the culture? which demographics? what about housing? --so it's a little hard for me to comment in a helpful way here.
Another section I was thinking you could add is the reputation of Bethesda. I think it could be of value to add publicized opinions about how safe the area is and how popular it is for the middle/upper class.
I think you're off the a great start and I definitely see a lot of flaw within the original article. Its a small article for such a popular place around DC. -Jencogan Oct.13. 5:04pm

response to peer review.

Thanks for the input! for the peer review I implimented more scholarly sources for the first two paragraphs about glen echo and the crescent trail. I tried to make a more scholarly stance in those paragraphs. I also added a section on Food with important restaurants, sources and opinions about food in Bethesda. I added a line about demographics as well. I felt that there was enough information about demographics that there was not too much of a need for extensive coverage. I also thought housing has a lot of coverage becuase there is not enough new information to cover the subject. I want to focus on the subjects I have now and edit a little bit from starting goals for the project. Thanks! ~~~ mp4545a
