Background and education She had a beautiful scenery growing up in kilembe town in western Uganda kasese around rwenzori where she enjoyed all her childhood games like volley ball

and though Her love for sports stretches way back, her love specifically for basket ball started in 2006 when she joined kibuli Secondary and won her national schools basket ball championship before she joined Makerere sparks and later wining the National Basket ball League in 2011.

Career In 2011 Komugisha was one of the two young journalists that were selected to represent Africa for the [1] at the World University Games in Shenzhen , China

Having been introduced to the international scene, in 2012, she covered the [2]Cite error: There are <ref> tags on this page without content in them (see the help page). were she interviewed the world most celebrated like serena williams and Kobe Bryant.

she has worked with international media organizations including [3], [4] and [5] in especially football and basketball in Africa.

In 2019, she attended the International Visitor Leadership Program international visitor leadership program(IVLP) on women empowerment through sports journalism having been recognized as one of the most influential young Africans by [6] in Ghana, honoring her excellence in covering African sport in October the same year.

Komugisha never stopped wining and was in 2020 recognized for the inaugural prestigious [7]. An award that has been in existence since 1996 to celebrate South African women doing well in uplifting young girls and women

Personal life Komugisha has dedicated the biggest portion of her life in creating a better image for the women in sports fraternity thus focused on telling those stories from the African perspective thus providing a stepping stone for the young girls who wish to join the sector
