George Motz George Motz (b. October XXX) is an award winning filmmaker, DP, and writer, and most recently the host of The Travel Channel's Burgerland TV Show. Over the past 20 years he has worked on many television commercials, feature films, music videos, documentaries, and promos and gained national recognition with Hamburger America, his second documentary film which he shot, produced, edited, and directed. The film was nominated in 2006 for a James Beard Foundation Award and won the Audience Choice Award at the 2009 Modesto Film Festival. The film's success led to a state-by-state guide to hamburgers, also titled Hamburger America, and an iPhone app called 'Burger GPS' The book was written by Motz, includes over 250 of his hamburger photos and is available at bookstores everywhere.

George is also the Founder and Director of The Food Film Festival, now in its 7th year in NYC, 4th year in Chicago and 1st year in Charleston. The Food Film Festival is a multi-sensory festival where the audience is treated to the food they see on the screen.

He lives in Brooklyn, NY with his wife, Casey Benjamin, two children and a dog.
