In 2017, Kazuma took part in the MEN'S NON-NO Model Open Audition (Japanese: メンズノンノ) and came in second place. [2]In 2018, he made his official debut with the group INTERSECTION. [3]2019, kaz participated in AbemaTV's relationship reality show Who is a Wolf? (Japanese: オオカミくんには騙されない). In 2021, he participated in Tencent Video(WeTV) China's international male group competition talent show Produce Camp 2021 (CHUANG 2021; Chinese: 创造营2021) and announced his withdrawal from the competition on March 8 due to family reasons.[4] On June 21, kaz released his solo single White Stallion;[5] On September 13, he released his first solo EP CODE LOVE. [6]
The fan name Kizuna for Kazuma is taken from the Japanese word きずな(絆), which has the meaning of bond and link. The supporting color (Chinese: 应援色; Koren: 응원색, is a representative color exclusive to idols and groups, usually set by the official) is Hudson Blue.[7]
Early life and education
[edit]Kazuma was born in New York City, USA. He has been learning to play the flute since he was 4 years old. At the age of 8, he moved to Japan for education and taught himself Japanese. In junior high school, Kaz joined a jazz band and started playing the saxophone. During high school, he met with William Aoyama, Mika, and Caelan, and formed the male singing group INTERSECTION. Kaz is currently a student at Harvard University.[8]
