Andrzej Wiśniewski is a Polish logician. Currently, he is a full professor at the Department of Logic and Cognitive Science, Institute of Psychology, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland.
He made contributions to erotetic logic, the logic of questions. He introduced the notion of Inferential Erotetic Logic (IEL), an approach to erotetic logic that focuses on inferences that can be made by asking questions. Ultimately, these inferences lead to questions as conclusions.
