Louis Schoorl

Louis Schoorl (born 23 December, 1976) is a Dutch born songwriter, record producer and multi-instrumentalist.

Currently living in Sydney, Australia he has most recently worked with Jessica Mauboy, Daniel Johns, Guy Sebastian, Stan Walker, Reece Mastin, The Veronicas, 5 Seconds of Summer and Diane Warren.

After building his own studio in Sydney, Australia Louis worked with a number of local artists crossing many musical genres including hip-hop, R&B, rock, pop and dance/techno.

Louis has written with and/or produced for: Emma-Louise Birdsall, Boy In A Box, Sinead Burgess, Lucy Durack, Jake Emlyn, Bella Ferraro, Japanese pop group Girls Generation, Gary Go, Daniel Johns, Russian pop-star Kamaliya, Damien Leith, Reece Mastin, Jessica Mauboy, Shannon Noll, Marvin Priest, Dane Rumble[1] , Ben Saunders, Guy Sebastian[2] , De La Soul, Josie De Souza, Phebe Starr, Timomatic, The Veronicas and Stan Walker[3] .

Louis has worked with a number of worldwide songwriters including: Hayley Aitken, Paul Barry, Steeve Body, Colin Campsie, Sean Carey, Herbie Crichlow, Robert Conley, Dsign (Norway), Lee Groves, Nermin Herambasic, Ilan Kidron, Daniel Johns, The Kennel (Stockholm), Brian Lee, Blair MacKichan, Martin Mulholland, Steve Parkin, Tobias Priddle, Trinity (Stockholm), Christian Vintin and Hayley Warner.


The Sapphires Soundtrack

Louis co-wrote the original song "Gotcha"</ref> for the Australian hit film The Sapphires}}|work=2012|publisher=Wikipedia}}</ref> [4] with the film's star Jessica Mauboy and Ilan Kidron. The song was released as a single and peaked at number 43 on the ARIA Singles Chart. The film's soundtrack was nominated for an ARIA Award for the Best Original Soundtrack[5] and Best Pop Release[6]. Jessica Mauboy also received an Aria Nomination for Best Female Artist[7] for Gotcha.

Louis is signed to UK based management group ie: music[8].


Label and Publishing

In August of 2011 Louis signed a worldwide publishing deal with Universal Music Publishing[9] [10] .
