Antoinette Niyongira is a Rwandan journalist, mistress of ceremony and a radio presenter on KISS FM mostly known on her sweet and calm voice. She is among Rwanda’s top media personalities and has 7 years of experience. Inspired by how journalists work on different aspects of life, she came to be the best presenter of mid-morning shows in Rwanda.

Background and Education

She is the last born in a family of four children, she studied languages in secondary school and continued Journalism in university. In her journey as a journalist Antoinette Niyongira started as an intern on ISANGO STAR one of the best radio stations in Rwanda where she learnt a lot about her career. She started working as a radio presenter and a news reporter at ISANGO STAR in 2011 where she spent 4 years. she continued her career on Radio 10 where she spent a year presenting news, educative and entertainment shows. From 2016 she works on KISS FM the best radio in Rwanda that has many listeners in mid-morning shows.

Career

The mid-morning show with Antoinette Niyongira is one the best shows followed by a large number of people. It’s a daily show that starts from 10.00 AM up to 2.00 PM. In this show Antoinette Niyongira makes people feel like the day has just started with inspirational stories that help people live a day with hope that tomorrow will be better. She shares with people different life tips and how to do different things by their own such as fashion, cooking and laundry. You have questions about your body? You want to get on diet? Well in her life corner, she gets to talk to doctors, nutritionists and psychologists about the health. Antoinette Niyongira doesn’t talk about health tips only but also bring celebrities in her show to share their life and experience with people and that’s how listeners get to know different news about their favorite stars.Back to her professional life, Antoinette Niyongira has never felt like giving up on her career no matter how things get complicated. She is always bringing in innovation in her job, networking and building her brand.

Due to her hard work, Antoinette Niyongira was awarded as Best lunch hour radio presenter by Rwanda Media Broadcasting Agency.
