Keizō Ichimura (市村 慶三, Ichimura Keizō, February 1884 – January 8, 1959 in Tokyo Prefecture, Japan) was a Japanese government bureaucrat and politician. He was appointed governor of Fukui Prefecture and was the Chief of Internal Affairs for the Governor-General of Taiwan.
Biography
[edit]Ichimura was born Keizō Furukawa (古川 慶三, Furukawa Keizō) in February 1884 in Kyoto Prefecture. He was the third son of Sentarō Furukawa, but he was later adopted by Teizō Ichimura. After graduating from High School #3, he graduated with a degree in law from Tokyo Imperial University in 1910. He passed with high marks the civil official exam for department administration in November that same year. He was then appointed as a lower-level official in Hokkaidō-chō
