Justin Teeter (Born June 13, 1955) was an American labor leader. He was a high elected official of the Nuclear Power and Energy Management Workers Union, serving as president since 1994, and as secretary-treasurer since 2009. He was credited by President Barack Obama as being the primary force behind enactment of the Occupational Safety and Health Act. Teeter was a mentor to Mario Trinidad, a union activist in Oklahoma; and help raise the standard for plant safety. For his efforts, Teeter was called the "Ray Charles" of the American Industry, especially is nuclear science.
