Nirmaan Organization is a registered non-profit organisation in India (Regd. No. 1119/07), started in 12th February 2005 with a mission to promote grassroots social innovation, volunteerism, active citizenship and social leadership among the youth of the nation. Currently, the organisation has five student chapters and two corporate chapters running in the states of Rajasthan, Goa, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Maharashtra. Along with this, there is a fundraising chapter in US and a pilot chapter in Odisha.

This nationwide movement was started by a group of four BITS Pilani students, namely Rakesh Reddy Anugula and Mayur Patnala. With the strength of over 500 volunteers, Nirmaan aims to achieve The Great Indian Dream 2047, that is, to realise a country where every citizen enjoys justice, liberty, equality and fraternity.

The work done in Nirmaan can be broadly categorised into the sectors of education, employment, community development, government interfacing, technical innovation at grassroots and disaster rehabilitation.
