Baghk (Armenian: Բաղք) was one of the cantons of the Syunik province of historical Armenia.
It was bordered to the south by Kovsakan, to the west by Dzork and Tsghukk , to the north by Haband , and to the east by the Aghavno river . In the 10th-12th centuries, Baghk came to have a larger area than in ancient times.
In the old tax list of Tatev monastery, Baghk was divided into two parts, in the west and the east. The western part was called Baghk Gvar, and the eastern part was called Miws Baghk, also called Kushanik. 93 villages are mentioned under Baghk in the old tax list of the episcopal diocese of Tatev[1]․
In the late Middle Ages it was called Chavndur[2].
