Vinod Bharthwal is a politician in Uttarakhand state, India. He is a patron member of the Samajwadi Party and state president(2000-2010) of it's party,Uttarakhand.

Bharthwal served as a president of the Uttarakhand raajya niharta nigam in the year 1991 from headed by Mulayam Singh Yadav and became the chairperson of Uttrakhand gathan samiti in 1994.

In 1992 he was nominated as the national secretary February Samajwadi party and in 2015 he was appointed as Cabinet Minister in UP govt in issues of its state Uttarakhand.
