Some notes on where articles came from. A list of articles that got nontrivial improvements as a direct result of my discovering a bad or missing article, and that I would never have thought to work on otherwise.
- Found Acidilobus aceticus tagged as needing an expert. First version isn't even an article - it's a request for an article - and misidentifies this archaeon as a yeast.
- Found profenofos in the speedy queue. Unsourced, poor English.
- Murine polyomavirus was a redirect mistakenly brought to AfD. I moved it to RfD, then someone commented that the best solution would be to just write the article.
- Strangeways Research Laboratory was my own redlink from a scientist bio, IIRC.
- Someone came to my talk page to mention that a paper about ocelloids was getting some press, but our articles were crap.
- Found bad student editing at EnvZ/OmpR two-component system
- Found bad student editing at Kappa bungarotoxin
- Kappa bungarotoxin (plus title cleanup of the others in the family)
- Pulled YqeY protein domain from the "needs an expert" list, somehow got to ZinT from there
- Found while clearing out inappropriate citations to the Journal of Young Investigators
- Found poribacteria in the speedy queue as a blatant copyvio, rewrote after deletion
