In Jackson Heights most of the residents considered themselves being religious.XX Jackson heights now has three Roman Catholic churches one of them is St.Joan of Arc it was the first roman Catholic built in Jackson Heights, around the 1920's. St. Joan of Arc was the first catholic church in United States named in honor of a newly canonized French Saint. ^[1] Now this church is considered a NY landmarkNYC landmarks. On the other hand The United Methodist church a protestant is the oldest Church in Jackson Heights, built in 1919 only serving white middle and upper class is now the most diverse church in queens with Chinese, Korean,Spanish and English services.^[2] On the list of religion diversity in Jackson heights are Hinduism and Sikhism.
