User:Pappa Subramanian

Pappa Subramanian (born 1 June 1946 in Kudavasal Taluk, Thiruvarur, Madras State now Tamil Nadu) is an Indian politician with over 50 years of experience in Tamilnadu politics and also a former Member of the Legislative Assembly of Tamil Nadu. He served as the Member of Legislative Assembly in the floor of Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly during 1984,representing Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam. Belong to an Agriculturist family and by occupation and he has studied upto PUC and a pioneer to establish ADMK in 1972 along with seniors and ADMK party members in the coordinated zone of Thanjavur, Thiruvarur, Nagapatinam District, now called the Delta Region of Tamil Nadu.

Pappa Subramanian [[Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam]] worker since his school days. During his DMK days, he took part in anti-Hindi agitation. He firmly believe in respecting all languages but strongly oppose imposition of any language on anyone. He Quit the party following the 1972 split and joined the ADMK. Pappa Subramanian life revolves around MGR. He waited for more than 20 months after his engagement, so that his marriage could be solemnized in presence of MGR which happened in 24th June 1981 , headed by Chief Minister MGR and other senior ADMK members and ministers.
