The Schmalzhoftempel (Schmalzhof Temple), also known as the Synagoge Schmalzhofgasse and officially the "Synagogue of the Israelite Temple Society of the Mariahilf and Neubau Districts" (German: Vereinssynagoge des Israelitischen Tempelvereins für die beiden Gemeindebezirke Mariahilf und Neubau), was a synagogue in Vienna's 6th District, Mariahilf, at Schmalzhofgasse 3. The synagogue was built from 1883-4 in the Gothic Revival style from a design by architect Max Fleischer and was destroyed during Kristallnacht in November 1938.
