Fly The Whale runs charter and scheduled service on their landplanes, seaplanes, and helicopter. They are based in Bridgeport, Connecticut and Miami-Opa Locka, Florida on a seasonal basis. [1] Fly The Whale operates Cessna Caravans and Grand Caravans on and off floats.

Services[edit]

Fly The Whale facilitates flights going between local area airports in the Greater New York area, in Florida, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and the Caribbean. Their fleet of seaplanes is used for water landings at commercial docks, as well as custom landings for their charter flights at docks, beaches, and boats[2]. Fly The Whale operates between the months of June and September out of New York Skyports Inc. Seaplane Base in partnership with Blade [3].

Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands[edit]

Fly The Whale Began Operating regular service out of San Juan, Puerto Rico beginning in 2019. They facilitate trips between Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.

Bahamas and Florida[edit]

Fly The Whale operates flights out of local area airports in Florida on a charter basis. There are landplane and seaplane options available as well as enough pilots for the flights to have two at a time.[4]

Northeastern US[edit]

Fly The Whale is based out of Farmingdale, New York, and Bridgeport, Connecticut during the summer season. Their Sikorsky S-76 C++ remains in Farmingdale all year and commonly flies in and out of Manhatten and nearby airports. Fly The Whale operates commuter and charter flights out of New York Skyports Inc. Seaplane Base in partnership with Blade [5].
