The "Review" spambot is an instance of automated spamming software that regularly creates Wikipedia accounts. This spammer is very easy for New User log patrollers to detect and should be reported and blocked on sight. The spamming software first creates a user account with a name in the following format: Name Of Product Review [Tab][Number], with the last two fields being optional. It then sometimes creates another user account using the existing one, then finally (but never immediately after creating an account) posts the spam to its account userpage, consisting of randomly generated non-sequitur with a spam link in it. As evidenced by the global account creation log, the spamming software works in "bursts", creating a handful of accounts within a minute of each other with each one being set to spam a different English-language Wikimedia project (Commons, Wikipedia, Meta etc.). No cross-wiki spamming by an individual account has so far been documented.
