Murder of the Perpignan Station new article content ... “Murder of the Perpignan station “is a French criminal affair. Between 1995 and 2001, four girls disappeared and three was found dead, in similar conditions. This have made the inspector thought that it was the work of a serial killer, before the police consider the possibility of different murderer. On October 2014, two of the four disappearances was cleared up and involved two murderers.

Four girls looking alike disappeared in the station area in Perpignan, in all probability they have been approached or kidnapped by a driver in the Courteline and Henri-Ribère street probably near to the "café Figuerres" placed approximately in 0.4 miles (600m), in the south of the station, on the corner of the Henri-Ribère street and the Julien-Panchot avenue. The victimes are:

* Tatiana 17 (years old), disappeared the 24th of September 1995;
* Mokhtaria Chaïb 19 (years old), disappeared the 21st of December 1997;
* Marie-Hélène González 22 (years old), disappeared the 16th of June 1998;
* And Fatima Idrahou (23 years old), disappeared the 19th of February 2001.

Except Tatiana Andújar, whose the body has never been found, the three others victims was found dead and undress. Moreover, Mokhtaria Chaïb and Marie-Hélène González 's body has been found mutilated at the genital organs, also Marie-Hélène's head and hands has been found in a trash bag six months later. The personal effects of every victim are still not found.

First murder elucidated[edit]

After the fourth missing (the one of Fatima Idrahou) in February 2001, the city of Perpignan is under the light of the media from all over the world, which consider the possibility of a serial killer. According to a witness who saw the type, the color and a part of the number plate of the car in which Fatima has been kidnapped, a bar manager, married and father is arrested in his parents-in-law house in Meurthe-et-Moselle fourteen days after the crime, the 23rd of February. He finally confessed during the custody and admits the murder of Fatima, who, he knew in the shop "Darty" where she was cashier and explain the crime by saying that she didn't accept his advanced. After he assured to the investigator that he had made the body disappear in the Cap Béar in Port-Vendres , we finally found the undressed body of Fatima on the bank of the pool of Canet close to the home of the presumed murderer. The 18th of June, Marc Delpech is convicted to thirty years of imprisonment including twenty of prison term without remission by the crown court of the Pyrénées-Orientales for the kidnapping, the rape and the murder of Fatima Idrahou, sentence confirm in the appeal report of the 1st of July 2005. Even if the suspicion weigh on him (we discovered in his house press clippings relating the four murder and a disturbing beginning of a crime novel named "Tatiana" in his computer relating exactly the circumstances of the kidnapping of Tatiana Andújar, he is not legally pursued for the three other missing.

Second murder elucidated[edit]

On the middle of October 2014, the DNA of the assailant of Mokhtaria Chaïb was identified as the one of a Fifty-four year-old man, father of four children (from two different relations), living in Perpignan since 1997 which is exactly the year of the murder of Mokhtaria. The presumed murderer Jacques Rançon, (storekeeper from Hailles in the Somme already watch and many times sentenced for sexual assault and violence, including eight with no remission because of the rape of a woman by the crown court in Picardie), confess the rape and the murder of Mokhtaria Chaïb in custody. Accused and committed, the presumed killer, who just ended his first condemnation of one year of jail for death threat against the mother of his two last children, was acquitted of the disappearance of Tatiana Andújar, imprisoning in Picardie in the moment of the facts, even if we don't know if he get a permission to get out. However he's still suspect in the death of Marie-Hélène González. The police had discovered two other DNA in the place where the body has been found.
