The Rhein class ocean liners were a trio of ocean liners built for the North German Lloyd at the end of the 19th century. Rhein and Main were built by Blohm & Voss, Neckar
was built by J.C. Tecklenborg AG, Geestemünde. All ships have been seized by the Allies during World War I. Rhein and Neckar entered service for the United States Navy as USS Susquehanna and USS Antigone. Main was turned over to the British Ship Controller.
