Dale Cabaniss is an American human resources professional who is a former Director of the United States Office of Personnel Management (OPM). Cabaniss previously served as Chairman of the Federal Labor Relations Authority after being a member of its board. Cabaniss spent more than 20 years as a United States Senate senior staff member overseeing civil service issues at the Committee on Governmental Affairs and at the Committee on Appropriations.

Cabaniss previously served as Chairman of the Federal Labor Relations Authority[2][5] after being a member of its board.[3][4]

Office of Personnel Management[edit]

On March 4, 2019, President Donald Trump nominated Dale Cabaniss to be OPM's next director.[5] Cabaniss was confirmed by a 54-38 vote in the Senate on September 11, 2019,[6] began serving her term on September 16,[2] and resigned on March 17, 2020, effective immediately.[1]
