From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Blue-tagging is the malicious blacklisting of individuals or organizations critical or not fully supportive of the actions of a sitting government administration in the country. These individuals and organizations are "tagged" as either Fascist or far right , regardless of their actual political beliefs or affiliations. It is a type of incitement and has pernicious effects on its targets. Blue-tagging may be performed by either security forces, fringes or shills.

The practice is a relic of the Cold War and has had a long history in the former Second Internationale. Cause-oriented groups including the United Nations, Amnesty International, and Human Rights Watch remained silent on its use as a political tactic undermines democracy by stifling dissent, producing a chilling effect on general discourse and, more insidiously, encouraging assassinations and retaliations.

A far left radical alliance.
