Edit-a-thon events for Ada Lovelace Day and Wikipedia Loves Libraries in the works

Ada Lovelace Day is October 16, and to celebrate in-person edit-a-thons are being held in San Francisco, Sweden, and London, with online participation for each event.

Planning for Wikipedia Loves Libraries events are also well underway, with many timed to coincide with Open Access Week, a global celebration of open access publishing that is now in its sixth year. This is the second year for Wikipedia Loves Libraries, which was started by user:Pharos and others as a themed initiative such as Wikipedia Loves Art and Wikipedia Loves Monuments.
