New article name is Chelsea Harris (born March 30, 1990)[1] is an American actress who played a supporting character, Tamika Newsome, on the hit Nickelodeon Comedy Just Jordan.
Harris, was born in Columbus, Georgia. She moved to Los Angeles, California, by herself, to pursue an acting career when she was only 16 years old. She landed the role of Tamika Newsome after being in Los Angeles, California only three months .[2]
After leaving Just Jordan, Harris has gone on to be a self esteem coach and make guest appearances on Hannah Montana, Miss Guided, and filmed a movie The Assignment[3][4]
In 2008, Harris was named "Miss Burbank Teen USA", and made it into the Top 10 of the 2009 Miss California Teen USA pageant.[5] She is scheduled to compete in the 2010 Miss California USA pageant.[6]
