[edit]I am a vascular surgeon in Brooklyn, NY. I completed an integrated vascular surgery residency at the NYU School of Medicine and have an M.D. from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine and a B.A. in Computer Science from New York University. My professional interests include vascular surgery, computational fluid dynamics, public health, medical education and HIV stigma. My undergraduate interests included computer vision and machine learning where I programmed in C, Java, Assembly, Ruby, Perl and R. Currently I actively program in Python, C++ and R.
Languages
[edit]My native tongue is English but I learned to speak Spanish while working on public health projects in the Dominican Republic. Although my Spanish is not highly technical, I can get by in conversation.
