Sea is a Featured Article about the connected body of salty water that covers over 70 percent of the Earth's surface. The Ocean article is about the large divisions of the sea into roughly half a dozen massive bodies of water known as oceans. Individual "seas", smaller bodies of water, are listed at the List of seas article.

Other articles should be careful to link to the correct sea-based article. For instance, an article should link to [[List of seas]], rather than [[Sea]], when describing a smaller body of water.
