Nguyễn Hồng Diễm (born March 25, 1983) is a former model, actress, and host. Initially starting her career as a model, she ventured into the field of television dramas and achieved early success with "Cầu Vồng Tình Yêu" (Rainbow of Love). In 2020, she won a double accolade: "Best Actress in a Television Series" at the Golden Kite Awards and "Most Impressive Actress" at the VTV Awards for her role as Khuê in "Hoa Hồng Trên Ngực Trái" (Roses on the Left Chest).

Hồng Diễm was born in 1983. As the youngest child in a family where no one was involved in the arts—her parents worked for the postal service and ran a business—she was captivated by models performing on stage from a young age. In 2001, after failing her university entrance exams, she entered the entertainment industry as a model. With the help of Thúy Hằng and Thúy Hạnh, she became one of the first models of Elite Vietnam in the 2000s. In 2004, she represented Vietnam at the Miss Oriental Pearl competition and was among the top 10 finalists. She subsequently became one of the most popular models of Elite Vietnam. During this time, besides modeling, she hosted several programs such as "Excitement with SEA Games 2003," "I Love Vietnam," "The Entrepreneur's Path," and "Lifestyle." After six years of modeling, she ended her runway career in 2007 and officially transitioned to acting.

In 2007, Hồng Diễm had her debut acting role as Nga in the film "Chàng Trai Đa Cảm" (The Sentimental Boy). Although she auditioned for the lead role, she was cast in a supporting role instead. In 2011, she co-starred with Hồng Đăng in "Cầu Vồng Tình Yêu" (Rainbow of Love), which garnered significant attention. In 2017, after a six-year hiatus from television, she reunited with Hồng Đăng in the TV drama "Mátxcơva - Mùa Thay Lá" (Moscow - Season of Change). The two continued to work together as co-stars in the series "Cả Một Đời Ân Oán" (A Lifetime of Resentment) aired in 2018, "Hoa Hồng Trên Ngực Trái" (Roses on the Left Chest) aired in 2019, and "Những Ngày Không Quên" (The Unforgettable Days) aired in 2020. In 2021, she played the role of Cao Minh Châu in "Hướng Dương Ngược Nắng" (Sunflowers Against the Sun), once again reuniting with Hồng Đăng.

Personal life

Hồng Diễm got married at the age of 25 to a businessman who is 12 years older than her. The couple has a son and a daughter..
