Introduction and History

The meaning of Nihang(نہنگ)[Punjab, District Sargodha,

Tehsil Sahiwal] پنجاب، ضلع سرگودھا کی تحصیل ساہیوال is Crocodile.The person who turns to death is also called Nihang۔ Sikh's Akali sect, whose founder is Gorroghondik, is also called Nihang or defeated by referring to militancy. Gorroguondus gave them nails due to high-shaped tractors. But this village is something like this

Reason being

From today, five hundred years ago in the Lodhi covenan. The virtual area was cultivated and it was named after his Pir whose name was Nihang. Budhak Muras Ali(مسمی بڈھاک مورث اعلٰی), a township situated near Kotli, and its famous Nihang. The reason for this was that there was no children of Murasand the time here was a Pir,whose name was Nihang.

The Muras were present in this service of Pir that Pray for the children.

Pir Sahib prayed to Allaah in favor of him and said that keeping this name on the name of this village.

The reason for which Nihang name was famous on the name of Pir Sahib(Nihang). When the children of Muras grew up, they settled a few well. A few people lived here and settled on the left bank of the river Jhelum.

Society

The people of this village are friendly to each other and Arch, Hans.On occasion of happiness and sorrow, all the villagers are gathered together and work together. People with religious beliefs are peacefully, the biggest thing is that the sunnah and the shia perform prayers in the same mosque

Nihang and Surrounding

This village is situated at the bank of Jhelum river. This village has been suffering demolition of floods since time, but in the past few years, the village has deserted and it has been re-followed.

 The villagers took shelter in the mosque except for a few villages, the whole village was treated as a new habit.

On the north side of Nihang town, the primary elementary school is located on Sargodha Jhang Road, it is an ancient state of our area. It established in 1880.it was middle in 1924 and the construction of a regular government building was completed. It was ranked high in 1990 and was introduced to the secondary classes. This part is located on the broad bank area on the northeaset of the Nihang Chuk Jhamat road.

The scope of these educational institutions is that today the majority of the population is employee and this is organization of the development of Nihang. Its current area is about 45 square acres. And according to the census of the 1998s, its population consisted of 4 million 687 people. There is a facility of bank and post office

In the town Nihang and there are also some markets and hospitals. Now this city has become the centre of trade regarding the purchase of items.

On the west side of Nihang of Sargodha Jhang Road lies the Jamia MosqueThe area attributed to the name of Jamia Mosque consist of approximately 2 kanals. And it was found in 1985, until the 1998, this mosque was registeredas Dauband Profession, after this mandate of this mosque, registered as Hanifa Profession, was repaired in color 1999s.Near the Nihang Square Kusre Hussainia is located in the east side.

There are two government secondary schools one for girls and other for boys.There is a very famous private school “THE LEADERS SCHOOL & COLLAGE ” also contributing his service for this children.
