Neurocardiogenic syncope is a fainting episode caused by a trigger to the Vagus nerve. Neurocardiogenic syncope is also known as vasovagal syncope. It is known to affect young adult more commonly(NWOCC)^{[NWOCC 1]}. This form of syncope is the most common and is the culprit for 3.5 percent of emergency room visits and 1 to 6 percent of annual hospital admissions (Grubb)^[1]. This paper will outline what causes the condition, symptoms and treatment.
