[edit]The .tech TLD was delegated to the DNS root on 21 March 2015 and became available to purchase on 05 August 2015[2][better source needed] and has approximately 250,000 registered domains as of July 2019.[3] According to Radix, this domain is primarily designed to be used for technology related websites, however registration is open to all users, regardless of purpose.[citation needed]
