Jet Airways Flight 555 (9W555/JAI555)[a] was a scheduled international passenger flight that landed with only 350 kg (770 lb) of fuel after six go-arounds at Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram on 18 August 2015. The flight was operated by a Boeing 737-800 and was flying between Hamad International Airport in Qatar and Cochin International Airport in India. The flight was uneventful but due to poor weather at Cochin Airport, the crew carried out three separate go-arounds after not being able to see the runway. The crew diverted the flight to Thiruvananthapuram, but that airport also had low visibility and three additional go-arounds were conducted and a mayday was declared. The flight landed on its seventh attempt with no injuries.
