In the years I have been visiting Wikipedia I have seen its reliability, respectability and reputation grow by leaps and bounds thanks to its dedicated volunteers. I would be humbled to contribute in any way to such a noble cause. I believe Wikipedia can truly become a wonder of our time, an egalitarian sort of Library of Alexandria for the digital age. I hope in my own small ways to continue the trend of improving the quality, accuracy, neutrality, verifiability and scholarly rigor that is such a part of the vision of Wikipedia.
I am a voracious reader and I am interested and conversant in:
- History, especially:
-The Spanish Civil War -The History of Socialism and the Labor Movement -The History of Latin America -The History of the Former Soviet Union -Napoleonic Naval Warfare -Ancient History, Pre-History, Anthropology
- Ideas, especially
-Philosophy (Nietzsche, J.S. Mill, Hobbes, Marx, Marcuse, Rousseau, Heraclitus, Seneca, Locke, Epicurus etc) -Literature (William S.
