If my subpages inspire you to carry out an idea yourself or you have any questions or concerns, I'm interested in hearing about it!

I've been on a bit of a break from this area, but I do have plans to return! I would just like to sort a bit out with tooltips and footnotes before I jump back right in and see what has happened while I've been gone. eπi (talk | contribs) 14:03, 4 May 2019 (UTC)

Goal

[edit]
  • Don't look at my watchlist. (Failed: 02:36, 20 March 2018 (UTC))
    • Commencing for the second time at 16:54, 20 March 2018 (UTC).
    • Commencing again at 22:53, 23 March 2018 (UTC).
    • Alright... I know how to prevent getting distracted... delete my watchlist (temporarily). Commencing 23:50, 29 March 2018 (UTC).

List

[edit]
  • Organize current sources into one folder (Completion timestamp: 15:31, 21 March 2018 (UTC))
  • Rewrite the gameplay section (Completion timestamp: 13:28, 30 March 2018 (UTC))
    1. Write out all of the useful information that the instruction booklet contains, with formatted references. (Completion timestamp: 10:43, 22 March 2018 (UTC))
      • Cite sources for the gameplay section (Completion timestamp: 13:28, 30 March 2018 (UTC))
    • Rewrite again to fit WP:GAMEGUIDE, since it seems kind of long. (Completion timestamp: Incomplete)
  • Rewrite the development section in tandem with organizing the sources (Gregg Mayles' recent #DKCRevealed tweets can probably be covered here, if nowhere else) (Completion timestamp: Incomplete)
    • Upload some images to the development section (in particular, eyeing the evolution of DK with tie) (Completion timestamp: 19:41, 8 April 2018 (UTC))
    • Maybe something about the competition cartridge in the marketting section? It may not be notable enough, but if it is, only one sentence should be spent on it. (Completion timestamp: Incomplete)
  • Find appropriate sources for the audio section (OST tracklist, hidden tracks) (Completion timestamp: Incomplete)
  • Rewrite the reception section (Completion timestamp: Incomplete)
    • Cite sources for the reception section (Completion timestamp: Incomplete)
  • Nominate the article to be featured and go from there[a] (Completion timestamp: Incomplete)

And of course always remember: Wikipedia has no deadlines.

Notes

[edit]
  1. ^ Since this is my first FAC, and I haven't really consulted anyone else, I'm fine with it failing. But I'm relatively familiar with all the relevant guidelines, and generally consider myself a competent editor despite my low edit count, so I have high hopes for it succeeding.
