Location of Four Lakes Communications Station, Washington

The Four Lakes Communications Station is a closed Washington Air National Guard facility located northeast of Cheney, Washington. It was constructed by the United States Army in 1951 as a Nike missile facility, and transferred to the United States Air Force in 1961 when the missile site was decommissioned. The Air Force licensed the property to the state of Washington for use by the Air National Guard as a communications facility. The station was closed in 2009 and transferred to the Cheney School District.
