Colonel Mustard Amateur Attic Theatre Company |
The Colonel Mustard Amateur Attic Theatre Company (The Mustard) is a small non-profit theater company in Lincoln, Nebraska, that specializes in low-budget comedic productions. It garnered international attention when the video of its first musical, Jurassic Park The Musical!, spread across the internet. The popularity of that video helped the group raise funds for its most recent performance, X Files: The Musical.
The Mustard relies heavily on community support. A fundraising campaign for X Files: The Musical on Kickstarter raised over $4100 for the production, while the combined budget of the previous shows was under $500. The group relies heavily on word of mouth publicity to bring in both manpower and supplies.
