The Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge is an important breeding area for animals. It is located on land surrounding Lake Lowell at Nampa, Idaho.
There is a visitor's center, which is the hub of activity not only to visitors, but to those who wish to donate their time and services to wildlife conservation projects.
