From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

July 2021

  1. Voice Of Islam Radio UK: nominated at AfD; notified Biryaniisgood (talk · contribs) 20:05, 6 July 2021 (UTC)
    • Reason: Does not pass WP:GNG. Sources used are either primary sources or do not indicate notability. Have gone through AfC review but was declined.

August 2021

  1. Patience Masisi: nominated at AfD; notified Tol (talk · contribs) 14:00, 5 August 2021 (UTC)
    • Reason: may not pass WP:GNG and WP:BIO. currently there are 4 articles as references. "Latest General Joins..." is not about her. There's a picture of her, but she is not the main subject, which is another general. "African Women Mediators..." contains a brief profile about her. "Southern African War Ship..." made a passing mention of her. "SAND Dedicating July..." has a passing mention of her on page 27. I am unable to find anything of significance of her on Google.
  2. Draft:Aguanga Shooting: nominated at MfD 11:20, 12 August 2021 (UTC)
    • Reason: first submitted 6 months ago. being declined 3 times for the same reasons, WP:NOTNEWS and one event. last submission was rejected because still WP:NOTNEWS/one event and there isn't any significant update since the last submission.
  3. Chua Chwee Koh: nominated at AfD; notified Mirrortoamermaid (talk · contribs) 16:33, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fails WP:BASIC and WP:SIGCOV.
SIM, MINDEF, Certis sources are primary sources (2 press releases, and a organisation chart). Birmingham U source is basically a resume attached onto an event page.

October 2021

  1. Waldimar Ping-ay: nominated at AfD; notified Jade Ping-ay (talk · contribs) 07:11, 4 October 2021 (UTC)
    • Reason: A local politician who is elected to municipal office, which is of a local government level. Search on Google shows limited news coverage. May not qualify for notability under WP:NPOL.

November 2021

  1. Sunshine Bakeries: nominated at AfD; notified JohnShakur (talk · contribs) 17:50, 11 November 2021 (UTC)
    • Reason: May not pass WP:GNG, and indicative that the article is written with a promotional slant. Article was draftified before for incubation but was moved back by author without improvements made. Assessment of sources below.

December 2021

  1. Tang Joon-sang: nominated at RM; New name: Tang Jun-sang 16:00, 17 December 2021 (UTC)
    • Reason: The correct romanisation of his name is Tang Jun-sang. However, both variations are widely used in English sources, hence opening discussion on if the article should be renamed accordingly. I am in favour of moving to the correct romanised variation.
